Committee membership and meetings dates for the Student Progression Policy for the 2014-15 school year are currently being determined. Issues for 2014-15 Policy Recommended for Consideration by Staff & Stakeholders

  1. Consideration of Val/Sal to Cum Laude graduation traditions.
  2. Define conditions under which grades of "P" are issued.
  3. Application of ACCEL requirements to middle school promotion.
  4. Consideration of courses and formulas to be considered in the calculation of the local GPA (utilized for class rank).
  5. Define application of FLDOE-identified "Credit Recovery" course credits, grades and minimum seat time.
  6. Add a local requirement for the Algebra I EOC to count as 30% of the final course grade in middle school grades 6-8.
  7. Add new ACCEL 18-credit graduation option.
  8. Removal of local Life Management Skills requirement for students who elect to meet required PE credit via a non HOPE option.
  9. Revise Certificate of Completion requirements to align with SB 1076.
  10. Revise the middle school final grade calculation formula.
  11. Define the minimum attendance time required to earn credit in a high school course.
